On July 19, 2005, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan founded the Tashkent Medical Academy. With a total enrollment of 4662 students, the school first developed faculties like general medicine, pedagogy, and nursing. The institute trains 205 doctors and over 765 postgraduate students. The MBBS program at Tashkent Medical Academy is built around the production of highly skilled professionals on 58 chairs through the development of clinical skills. The institute put into practice "On coordination and monitoring of research works" as part of a grant on the environment and human health. The institute is home to seven different scientific councils.

History

On July 11, 1918, the Council of People's Commissars was founded, including the People's Commissariat of Health.During that time, the Turkestani medical system had its roots. In the early years of its operation, the People's Commissariat of Health made a number of significant judgments in the healthcare industry. One of these is the Republic of Turkestan approval of the Regulations on the Management of Medical Institutions on March 13, 1919. A decision was taken on April 13, 1919, to establish a medical faculty as an element of Turkestan State University. Professor P.P. Sitkovsky and K.G. Khrushyev was chosen to lead the university's new medical faculty on September 17, 1919, at the first academic council of the institution. The faculty was organized between 1919 and 1921, during the period when its technical and material foundation was developed. In that time, the heads included I.V. Davidovsky, A.N. Kryukov, P.P. Sitkovsky, V.F. Voyno-Yasenetskiy, K.G. Khrushyev, and G.B. Berlatskiy. S.N. Naumov, M.I. Prozin, G.G. Shcheglov, A.V. Miller, V.K. Arkadyev, I.P. Rojdestvensky, S.E. Zimmerman, A.A. Yudin, E.M. Shlyahtin, O.B. Lepeshinskaya, I.A. Smorodintsev, M.A. Zaharchenko, V. On May 5, 1920, a cadet corps and a hospital with 500 beds were given to the Faculty of Medicine.
