MBBS NEET PG

NEET is known as National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The test will be conducted by NBE as per new rules. The test is conducted so that the students can pursue PG after MBBS. NEET PG scores are accepted by various colleges in the country.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET PG
  • • The students need to have a valid MBBS degree.
  • • They need to have the MBBS degree from a college recognized by MCI or Medical Council of India.
  • • The students also need to have the internships done provided by the colleges.
  • • The registration certificate that is provided by the MCI or a State Medical Council needs to be shown on the day of examination.
  • • The students who are qualified MBBS from Jammu and Kashmir will not get the seats from the All India Quota in any college.
  • • The students who have done MBBS from abroad need to take FMGE or Foreign Medical Graduate Examination before sitting for NEET PG.
Syllabus of NEET PG

Pre-Clinical : This portion consists of questions from the study that the students have done during MBBS. There are questions from anatomy, biochemistry and physiology.

Para-Clinical : This portion consists of questions from the study that the students have done during MBBS. There are questions from pathology, microbiology, social and preventive medicine, pharmacology and forensic medicine.

Clinical : This portion consists of questions from the study that the students have done during MBBS. There are questions from dermatology, psychiatry, anesthesia, gynecology, ENT, venereology, orthopedics, radio diagnosis, pediatrics and ophthalmology.

NEET PG Registration Process
  • The students have to register themselves on the official website of NBE.
  • The admission window stays open for one to two weeks.
  • They have to generate the Login ID and Password for login.
  • The students have to upload the requested documents.
  • At last, the students need to check the application form correctly.
  • The students need to pay a fee after that.
Admit Card
  • The students need to check in for admit card details.
  • They have to check for the admit card when the registration window gets closed.
  • The students have to take a printout of the admit card that will be needed in the examination center.

Preparation for NEET PG

The preparation for NEET PG should be done adequately and you need to have some things in mind for the exam.

  • The notes are important. They need to have notes of important things that may be needed for revision.
  • The students need to formulate the habit to read newspapers, magazines and other things for new words and have quick reading ability.
  • The students have to practice the abilities and improve the speed for quick time management that is needed in the exam.

Important Things for NEET PG
  • The students always need to have their admit card along with them.
  • They also need to carry a valid identity along with them that can be asked by the examination center.
  • They are not allowed to take calculators, smart watches, phones, tablets and any other electronic devices along with them inside the center.
